Asus wants to keep the PDA market rolling for some more time as they have launched two new PDA products.
The new products include A686 and A696. Both the devices have integrated GPS devices into them and most of the functions are same in the duo. The only difference is in the processors.
The A686 is powered by a Intel XScale 312MHz processor and 128MB Flash ROM, whereas its big brother A696 is powered by a 416MHz CPU and 256MB Flash ROM. Other features that are same in both the devices are:
Windows Mobile 5.0
802.11b/g
SiRF Star III Receiver
Bluetooth 2.0
64MB SDRAM
3.5-inch 320 x 240 Touchscreen Display
Integrated Speakers and Microphone
Audio Recording Capability
Rechargeable Battery
The best feature about the devices is that the company has not attached any protruding antenna to it.
The company has not yet commented on the pricing and the availability of the product.
