Here comes a single chip GPS receiver from Leadtek. The introduction of the latest single chip version is of Leadtek top selling LR9805T GPS module, which is included with an elevated sensitivity, low power and surface mount package. The 12-channel(GPS) global positioning receiver has been developed for an extensive spectrum of OEM applications and is dependant upon the GPS signal search competency of a SiRFstarII single chip. Both Standard NMEA-0183 and SiRF Binary protocols are supported by the GPS navigation.
The LR9805ST packages a compact 24mm x 20mm x 2.9mm module to provide easy and fast incorporation into a large number of applications like pocket PCs, PDAs, marine and car navigation, asset tracking and fleet management. The RoHS compliant device is consisted with the features of a cold, warm and hot start time of 45, 35 and 4 seconds correspondingly and a signal reacquisition time of 0.1 seconds.
