Though new to the GPS field, LG has rolled out a slew of handheld GPS-capable multimedia players and is now showing off a full array of entertainment functions within an in-dash unit. The latest all-in-one GPS navigation system, called LAN-9600R, comes with a gorgeous motorized 7″ touchscreen LCD screen that displays images in the widescreen 16:9 format, a hands-free Bluetooth kit, and a USB port for data transfer, besides supporting all sorts of multimedia goodies integrating CDs, DVDs, MP3, WMA, DivX, and so forth.
Including a Centrality Atlas2 300 MHz processor running at the heart of things and the highly exact SiRFStar III GPS chipset, users are assured that the LG LAN-9600R is packed with a heavyweight punch that is surefire to knock its rivals out of the ring. Slated to be launched in the European market first and to be sold as a pack with a range of items comprising a hands-free Bluetooth kit and several European maps for a price of $2000.
Other features are included with USB port for data transfer, 2GB internal storage, Digital FM/AM, SD memory slot, Centrality Atlas2 300 MHz processor, and SiRF Star III GPS chipset. Making purchase of one would take a rather heavy toll on the users wallet as it costs about $2,000.
