GPS Navigators usually have a bright looking body, but not this one.

The SJ-5289 GPS also called as the NavMonster has good features but the device is bumped into an ugly looking body.

The device has a 7-inch 262K color screen, is powered by a 4600mAh rechargeable battery that gives the device a continuous 5 hour viewing time.

The device supports common multimedia formats that include MP3, MP4, WAV, MIDI, 3GP, AAC, AMR, AWB, and M4A.

The basic model comes equipped with a CF, SD/MMC and SIM card slots
however to use the SIM card you will have to spend more coins to purchase the advanced version.

The device runs Windows CE Net 4.2 on an Intel PXA255 Processor at 400MHz. Windows OS enables you the support of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files.

Also on the bulky and ugly body of the device you will find an Ethernet port for Internet Connectivity and you can also choose for the optional CF Wi-Fi card. The touch screen device will be shown at CES-2007.

Also in the package you will find:

• NavMonster
• External Antenna
• Car Holder
• Car Charger
• Travel Charger
• Mini-USB Cable
• User Manual
• Recovery DVD-ROM

The things that I don’t like in the device are first of all the ugly looking 3cm thick body and the device is not easy to carry as it weighs 835 grams. The device measures 26cm x 13cm x 3cm. I don’t see more buyers of the device because of its bulky appearance. I think that’s why they call it a NavMonster.
