SiRF Technology Holdings recently announced to introduce a Multimode Aided-GPS Satellite Signal Processor called SiRFstarIII GSD3t, in an exceedingly small-footprint, which is claimed to carry industry major SiRFstarIII GPS performance to price-conscious and space-constrained mobile devices like cell phones.
The GSD3t, available in a very emaciated package, under 10 square millimeters in size, is integrated with radio frequency, plus analog and signal processing functionalities in a standalone 90 nm RFCMOS die. The GSD3t fully benefits from SiRF’s Adaptive Power Management and Trickle Power(TM) technology to provide high performance whilst consuming extremely low power.
