According to industry sources, two primary manufacturers of GPS (global positioning system) products in Taiwan, Holux Technology & GlobalSat Technology, noticed the deliverance of GPS PNDs (portable navigation devices) in the Q4 drastically went up as of previous quarter.
The shipments of GPS PNDs has been begun by Holux for orders obtained on behalf of the latest clients in Europe and extra orders from US clients previous quarter, including overall consignment volume going high unto 3,000-5,000 modules a month, hinted by the sources.
